LE MAROC

“Le Maroc” shows Adrià Colorado’s essence by means of a visual universe of colour and patterns.

The film’s main element is a box full of colour, creativity and originality. Once the box is opened, the film’s atmosphere turns into a new universe filled with the designer’s characteristic traits. White garments are stained with colour symbolizing both the viewer’s immersion into Adrià Colorado’s world and the importance of his patterns.

“Le Maroc” takes us to Casablanca, a liberal and progressive city in Morocco, full of contrasts where industrialization and the economic heart of the country combine with its most chaotic, cosmopolitan and modern facet.

RUPESTRIS

Josep Prat Sorolla is the author of “Rupestris”, the fashion film that brings together all those elements in Adrià Colorado imagery. The video progresses as an elegant series of moving portraits that combine all those elements in the collection with endless visual references--from arrows or bones to more subtle symbols such as silhouettes and dynamism, embodying cave paintings. In the end, Josep Prat Sorolla manages to make us follow the designer's order: it is impossible to decline such an invitation to escape.

The viewer is immersed in Adrià's universe: a world full of explosive color, neat images, geometry, absurdity and coherence. A world that is just as sofisticated and naif as own or fantasy.

GREETINGS FROM COSTA BRAVA

And the genesis of "Greetings from the Costa Brava" is precisely in the summers that Colorado spent bathing on the beach of Cavall Bernat, a wonderful corner of the Costa Brava.

This collection is a tribute to the visual references that accompanied me when I was a child in the land where I grew up, surrounded by the beach, the sea and the fishing. I remember from my childhood everyday details like: plaid tablecloths, my grandmother's house awning, the picnic blankets we used to eat on the beach or in the countryside, the grid that my grandfather and me used to fish, even the souvenir T-shirts from the beachside shops that we have all worn when we were children.

The spirit of the Mediterranean coast is recognizable in “Greetings from Costa Brava” because you can find all the palette of colors that make your life happier!
